This Friday 27th , Renfe is putting into service the new AVE that will link Huesca with Madrid on Fridays and Sundays during the winter campaign. The new service , which will stop in Zaragoza, also allows you to reach the ski resorts of Astún, Candanchú and Formigal using a train+bus ticket, the result of an agreement between Renfe and Avanza.
The new AVE means a new circulation in each direction between Huesca and Madrid, leaving the capital of Huesca on Fridays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m. and the capital of Madrid at 4:05 p.m., also on both days. The train is also a new connection between Zaragoza and Huesca and Madrid. And it will be in operation during the winter campaign, from December 27 to March 30, 2025, to facilitate mobility towards the Aragonese Pyrenees on dates of high demand.
The launch of this service is linked to an agreement between Renfe and Avanza to extend the train+bus services to the connection with the ski resorts of Astún, Candanchú and Formigal. In this way, with a combined and guaranteed ticket you can travel by AVE from Madrid or Zaragoza to Huesca and continue by bus to the sports slopes.
The train+bus connection can be made on Fridays on the train that leaves Madrid at 4:05 p.m. and arrives in Huesca at 6:10 p.m., stopping in Zaragoza at 5:26 p.m., and, in the opposite direction, with the AVE that leaves Huesca on Sundays at 7:30 p.m.
The new AVE joins Renfe’s daily high-speed connection between Huesca, Madrid and Andalusia.
