Everything was up in the air but the doubts have now been resolved: there will be Vive Latino 2025 in Zaragoza. This was confirmed by the mayor, Natalia Chueca, during one of her speeches at Fitur, the International Tourism Fair, which is being held these days in Madrid. There, Zaragoza was presented as the World Capital of Garnacha and, in addition, some of the events that will take place in the Aragonese capital during 2025 were announced .
Vive Latino was one of those big events that seemed to be up in the air, since, unlike previous editions in which the lineup was already known in December, the 2025 edition seemed closer to disappearing than to taking place. But no. At the moment, little else is known about the festival, which in its three previous editions has been held in September at the Expo venue.
For the time being, a major Star Wars event in the Aragonese capital was already announced in September. Without knowing the exact dates or the line-up of artists, the director of Vive Latino Spain, Nacho Royo, said a few days ago that “news would be available very soon.”
And this news has arrived in the form of confirmation. Throughout its three editions, artists of the stature of Calamaro, Iván Ferreiro, Julieta Venegas, Hombres G, Trueno, Amaral and many others have passed through the banks of the Ebro, making it one of the festivals most loved by the public.
