National Court Judge José Luis Calama has summoned former Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero as a suspect in the “Plus Ultra case ” for several crimes, including influence peddling.
Sources at the National Court have confirmed that the former head of government has been summoned to appear on June 2nd. Specifically, he is charged with influence peddling and related offenses.
Furthermore, these sources confirm that searches are currently being carried out at Zapatero’s office and at three other companies. The judge has lifted the secrecy order on the proceedings.
