The Stellantis plant in Figueruelas will add the Leapmotor B10 to its production lines, the electric car that achieved the highest registration figures in Spain during July. The Chinese brand’s model will begin production in Zaragoza before the end of 2026 , providing new work for a factory currently undergoing its transformation towards electric vehicles.

The model closed July with 506 registrations, ahead of other electric cars such as the Kia EV3 and the BYD Atto 2. This figure represents a significant boost for a Chinese brand still little known in Spain, but which is growing in Europe with the support of Stellantis .

According to Motor16.com, production of the B10 in Figueruelas is scheduled to begin at the end of this year. Stellantis and Leapmotor have an alliance to manufacture and sell vehicles of this brand outside of China , and the Zaragoza plant will play an important role in that project.

For Zaragoza, the arrival of the new car will mean more work for a factory that is currently adapting to electric vehicles. The B10 will share facilities with other models already produced in Figueruelas, such as the Peugeot 208 and the Lancia Ypsilon.

The Leapmotor B10 runs solely on electricity, has enough space for a family, and can travel up to 434 kilometers on a single charge, depending on the version. Its production in Aragon will allow it to be manufactured closer to European buyers and will strengthen the industrial future of the Zaragoza plant.
