Marc Márquez remains the king of Aragón, and Motorland is one of his favorite circuits. The Lleida-born rider had a perfect weekend at Motorland after winning the Aragón GP’s feature race on Sunday and also the sprint on Saturday. The world championship leader is even more so after scoring the 37 points at stake on Aragón soil this weekend.

The eight-time world champion led the Aragón Grand Prix from start to finish on a sunny day of motorcycle racing in Alcañiz. Although he had to fight hard to make up several positions on Saturday after a shaky start, the elder Márquez brother was 10th today and managed to take his first victory in red in Aragón . He was followed by his brother, Álex Márquez, and his teammate, Pecco Bagnaia. Pedro Acosta finished fourth, and Morbidelli fifth.

It is Márquez’s eighth victory at Motorland (2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024 and 2025) and he now leads the championship with 233 points, 32 more than his brother Álex and 93 more than Bagnaia.

Moto 2

Minutes earlier, at around 1:00 p.m., the intermediate race ended with no Spaniards on the podium. In Moto2, with a photo finish and just 0.3 thousandths of a second behind, Turkey’s Deniz Oncü took the lead after overtaking Diogo Moreira in the nick of time. Third place went to Barry Baltius. In the world championship, Manuel Fernández and Aaron Canet currently share the lead with 118 points.

Moto 3

The race Sunday in Aragón began with another frantic Moto3 finish and a single-color podium finish: a Spaniard. David Muñoz took the win in the smaller class, ahead of Máximo Quiles, just 0.500ths of a second behind at the finish line, and Álvaro Carpe. Fourth-place finisher David Almansa is also Spanish.

In the championship, José Antonio Rueda holds the lead (he could only manage ninth today) with 141 points. He is followed by Ángel Piqueras with 87 and Kelso with 77.
