The Aragonese airline Air Horizont has been facilitating air mobility in Aragon for ten years and, with the aim of continuing to expand the offer of flights from Zaragoza , the company has launched the fourth edition of its “Escapadas” program . On this occasion, 15 charter flights have been scheduled that will depart from the Aragonese capital to destinations selected for their great tourist attraction.
By the last quarter of 2024, the company will connect Zaragoza with four national and European destinations. Thus, you can fly from Zaragoza to Granada to discover the imposing Alhambra , to Lisbon to taste the famous pastels de nata and to Munich and Berlin to soak up German culture. As for the sale of tickets, it will start this Monday, May 6.

But this is not all, since other flights that will operate throughout 2025 will soon be added to the offer. Thus, travelers will be able to escape from Zaragoza to Porto , Verona, Naples / Amalfi Coast, Malaga , Sicily and Malta . In addition, Air Horizont will add a special schedule of five flights from Zaragoza to Rome , coinciding with the jubilee year, in spring and autumn of next year.
According to the general director of Air Horizont, Juan Luis Díez , “the reception we are having is very good.” In fact, the third edition of “Escapadas” has achieved 100% occupancy on all scheduled flights. “ Passengers ask us to repeat, to increase the options and that is what we are doing,” he highlighted.
And, as Díez points out, “until now there has never been a program of special flights departing from Zaragoza and only the typical long weekends of Pilar or La Constitución are scheduled , but there is not much offer of flights spread throughout the year. We are from here and that is why we want to offer alternatives to regular routes.”
