Aragonese companies register a historical export record in 2023

Exports in Aragon concluded in 2023 with a historical record of 17,625 million euros and a growth of more than 8% compared to 2022. These are figures released by the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce during the presentation of the Export Awards 2023 that has fallen to the companies Linamar Light Metals, Ibernex, IDE Electric and Araven .

The good export data is reflected above all in the Automotive sector , which has grown by 23% in one year and in Food and Beverages with an increase of 14%. The main countries that buy in Aragon are France, Germany and Italy.

The deputy general director of the Chamber of Commerce, Nieves Ágreda , has highlighted that Aragonese companies are “increasingly more competitive despite the difficulties they have faced in recent years.”

The awards that will be presented on June 13 in the Auditorium have awarded Beatriz Orduna, Global Marketing of Ibernex, Luis Arruga, Operations Manager of Linamar, Javier Layus, CEO of Araven and Beatriz Montañés, export director of IDE Electric .

Asked if the political conflict with Argentina could affect their exports, the companies have responded that it is still too early to know if it can influence.
