Almost 40,000 people have travelled on one of the 495 international connections that Zaragoza Airport has had in the month of July. This number grew by 3.8% compared to the same month in 2023, although the number of tourists on domestic flights has suffered a drastic fall of more than 20%, to 26,592, in 209 operations, which have also fallen by 23.4%. Likewise, Zaragoza Airport has registered 13,028 tons of merchandise during the month of July, which represents an increase of 49.4% compared to the same month last year, although this time it was surpassed by Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport .
In the first seven months of the year, freight traffic reached more than 91,578 tonnes , which is 45% more than in the same period last year. The number of operations stood at 5,757 between January and July, which represents an increase of 4.1% compared to the previous year.
