Several people have been slightly injured in a traffic accident which occurred early this morning involving a lorry carrying calves and a French bus, at the Quicena roundabout in Huesca.
According to the Guardia Civil and Huesca City Council, the road accident occurred at around 1.20 am this morning, when a large lorry carrying cattle left the N-240 road at kilometre 205.4. As a result of this incident, the articulated vehicle overturned, and a French bus later collided with it.
The accident occurred near the entrance to the capital of Huesca , and although the exact number of injured is not yet known, it is believed that there are three people with minor injuries, according to sources from the Civil Guard.
The causes of the accident are still unknown and it was agents from the Fire Department, Civil Guard and Civil Protection who went to the scene of the accident to attend to the injured people. It is known that the driver of the truck was trapped inside the vehicle, despite being conscious, and had to be helped by the Fire Department to be able to get out of the vehicle.
