A 65-year-old English man has suffered a head injury and a fracture of his right shoulder after being hit by a falling rock. The incident occurred on Wednesday at 4:20 p.m. while the hiker was carrying out the activity in the area of the Añisclo Canyon, in Fanlo (Huesca).
After receiving the call in the 112 SOS Aragón Emergency Room, at the 062 Operational Centre of the Civil Guard in Huesca, the Special Mountain Intervention Rescue Group (GREIM) of Boltaña, the Huesca Air Unit and the 061 doctor have been activated.
After flying over the area and locating the injured person, he was evacuated and transferred by helicopter to the
San Jorge Hospital in Huesca.
