It is already known by many that discovering the ins and outs of the Pilar crypt is possible on only one date:
All Saints’ Day. However, this year, in addition to the traditional free opening of this unique space,
Zaragoza Tourism will also offer the guided tour “The Pillar as a Pantheon” during this long weekend.
The visit can be made on November 1, 2 and 3 at 4:00 p.m. The departure will be from the Visitors Center in Plaza del Pilar for groups of a maximum of 20 participants. The tour, which lasts 50 minutes, takes place inside the Basilica del Pilar and tells of the illustrious people who are buried in the temple in different places and chapels, including the descent to the crypt.
The general price is 2 euros, while children under 8 and seniors over 65 have free entry. In addition, there is a discounted rate of 1.50 euros for large families, youth card holders and students. Tickets can be purchased on the Zaragoza Tourism website.
