He is the most widely read writer in the Spanish language. At least, that’s what the cover of his new book says, which is also the last in a saga that has sold more than five million books worldwide. Juan Gómez-Jurado thus bids farewell to the “Reina roja” phenomenon, to the sadness of all those who have been hooked on the story of Antonia Scott and Jon Gutiérrez. Juan Gómez-Jurado will be speaking with readers that day at the Teatro Principal at 7:00 p.m. in a free-entry event. After writing “El paciente”, “Cicatriz”, “Reina roja”, “Loba negra”, “Rey blanco”, “Todo arde” and “Todo volví”, the writer and journalist from Madrid will discuss the end of an era with readers.
Her novels have been translated into more than 40 languages and “Reina roja” and “Cicatriz” have been adapted to the screen with two series on Prime Video and RTVE respectively.
