The Amantes de Teruel Foundation has presented the annual report of visitors to the Mausoleum of the Lovers and the Mudejar Complex of San Pedro, which in 2024 reached a total of 101,356 visits. This figure, similar to that of 2023, reflects the consolidation of these emblematic spaces as benchmarks for cultural tourism in Spain.
The best results of the year were recorded during Holy Week, which in 2024 coincided with the month of March, favouring a significant increase compared to the same period in 2023. However, the months of September, October and December showed slight decreases due to the different distribution of the holidays on the Pilar and Constitution-Immaculate Conception long weekends.
By day of the week, Saturday was the day with the highest number of visitors, accumulating 22.96% of the total number of visits, followed by Sunday with 17.41%. These percentages reflect the success of the strategies to attract tourist groups, travel agencies and schoolchildren, which have experienced a notable increase.

ORIGIN OF THE VISITORS
Madrid leads as the main source market, representing 15% of the total number of tourists, followed by Valencia (10.98%), Barcelona (7.16%) and Zaragoza (5.97%). As for international tourism, foreign visitors represent 8.22% of the total, with French (2,170), German (634), Dutch (591) and Belgian (315) visitors standing out.
The Amantes de Teruel Foundation is optimistic about 2025, with new initiatives and strategies to continue attracting visitors from around the world.
