The Mayor of Zaragoza, Natalia Chueca, will travel to China next month . It will be a four-day trip, from February 14 to 18, with the intention of promoting the Aragonese capital so that those who do not know Zaragoza think of it as an opportunity to come and invest, set up their companies or bring tourists.
“The objective is basically what I have been doing since I became mayor. I am going to promote Zaragoza and visit four cities. It is a very stressful agenda. There are only a few days and there will be a lot of kilometres,” explained the mayor. During her tour of the Asian country, Chueca will strengthen ties with two twinning projects with different Chinese cities. This, she said, “will allow new opportunities to open up with the business community in the future .”
In this regard, a meeting will also be held with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and several companies. This will be aimed at learning about the opportunities offered by Zaragoza in the field of logistics, renewable energy and technology.
Finally, Zaragoza will be presented to Chinese tour operators so that all those who come to visit Spain and Europe can get to know the city and make a stop there, which could provide “a very important economic boost .”
