A total of 27 Spanish ski resorts will be open this weekend with 748 skiable kilometres, the largest of the season, after exceeding the snow cover available the previous weekend by 32 kilometres.
According to the snow report from the Tourist Association of Ski and Mountain Resorts (Atudem), the biggest offer this weekend will be in the Lleida resort of Baqueira Beret (Lleida), with 140 kilometres and a maximum thickness of 95 centimetres; followed by Formigal-Panticosa (Huesca), with 123 kilometres and a thickness of up to one metre and 45 centimetres, and Astún-Candanchú (Huesca), with 85 kilometres of slopes and a thickness of one metre and 50 centimetres.
Next in line are Sierra Nevada (Granada), with 62 kilometres, Cerler (Huesca) with 60 kilometres, Masella (Girona) with 45, and La Molina (Girona) with 37.
Also opening will be Boí Taüll (Lleida) with 33 kilometres, Port Ainé ( Lleida) with 26, Espot (Lleida) with 20, Alto Campóo (Cantabria) with 15, and Llanos del Hospital (Huesca) and Larra-Belagua (Navarra), both with 14.5 kilometres.
Other stations suitable for skiing this weekend include San Isidro (León) with 7 kilometers, Tavascán (Lleida) with 7, Núria (Girona) with 7, and Vallter (Girona) with 6.
