The Ibex -35 closed this Friday at 13,446.7 points, achieving a weekly gain of 0.7% during a holiday week marked by last Monday’s blackout. Meanwhile, the risk premium fell slightly, to around 66 points.
On Friday, the Spanish stock market’s main index posted a 1.2% increase, closing the week in the green, breaking a two-session loss streak, after losing 0.59% on Wednesday and 0.66% on Tuesday. Previously, to open the week, it rose 0.75% on Monday, the day of the blackout.
In this last weekly session, IAG’s rise stood out, taking off with a strong increase of 6.56%, followed by ArcelorMittal, which rose 4.88%, and Indra, which improved 4.43%.
At the other end of the spectrum, Redeia closed with significant losses, continuing to bear the brunt of the blackout with a 3.78% drop, followed by Solaria, which fell 4.04%, and Acciona Energía, which fell 3.04%.
Among the Ibex giants, losses were only for Iberdrola , down 0.66%. Meanwhile, Santander gained 2.51%, CaixaBank 2.2%, Inditex 1.42%, and BBVA 1.33% after receiving the CNMC’s approval for its takeover bid for Sabadell, whose shares fell 1.33%.
