On Tuesday, August 20, officers from the Aragon Police Headquarters arrested a 34-year-old man who was the subject of a European Arrest Warrant requested by the Sirene Office for having committed several robberies with violence in Germany. The officers from the Robbery Group located this individual in the vicinity of San Juan Bautista de la Salle street in the Aragonese capital, proceeding to arrest him after receiving a notice from the German authorities.
The detainee had twelve other identities associated with his criminal record , such as Algerian or Moroccan, which made his location difficult. In addition, the individual was wanted for having committed up to four robberies with violence in May 2022 in Düsseldorf, a city in western Germany, with a sentence of 15 years in prison pending.
He was also accused by the Mossos D’escuadra of Reus of being involved in a robbery with violence and intimidation that occurred on August 8 in the town of Cambrils.
Once the arrest was reported to the corresponding Central Court of the National Court on duty, his immediate transfer to Madrid was ordered in order to appear before the Judicial Authority.
