Aragón Exterior is preparing a trade mission to showcase the qualities of Aragonese wine, olive oil, and pork in China . This will take place at the SIAL Shanghai 2026 trade fair , to be held in the Asian giant from May 18 to 20 at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center ( SNIEC ). This was announced by the director of Arex, Javier Camo, this Thursday at The Wave event.
According to the preliminary plan, the Chamber of Commerce and the five largest meat processing companies in Aragon will participate, along with representatives from the wine and olive oil sectors . “We will discuss Aragon’s capacity, quality, safety, and manufacturing capabilities in the pork sector,” Camo affirmed.
AGREEMENTS BETWEEN SPAIN AND CHINA
Furthermore, when questioned about the latest trade agreements announced this week between Spain and China , Camo stated that all agreements of this type, “not only with China, but with any country” that imports raw materials and consumer goods, “are welcome.” “We work at the pace that Aragon needs. China is Aragon’s main buyer outside the European Economic Community, so this is fantastic ,” Camo concluded.
