The A-136 motorway, on the Portalet border, reopened to traffic on Monday after being closed for nearly 12 hours. This Sunday, rock and tree falls occurred on the French side, particularly on the RD934, leading to the road being closed at midnight.
The condition, as reported by 112 Aragón, was at kilometer 26 of the road, in the municipality of Sallent de Gállego. As for the cause of the landslides, according to the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), they were caused by strong gusts of wind, mainly affecting the right lane.
After the cleaning work, traffic was restored at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, although the circulation of trucks and articulated vehicles has remained prohibited since January 20.
